Rise and Fall Season 2 Premieres: Sehwag Replaces Grover as Host

Rise and Fall returned for Season 2 on September 26, 2026, streaming free on Amazon MX Player (MX Player by Prime Video) with daily episodes at 12 noon IST across a 42-day run.

The big change: cricket legend Virender Sehwag hosts this season, replacing Ashneer Grover, who fronted the 42-episode first season (won by Arjun Bijlani, ₹28.1 lakh).

The format is unchanged — 15 contestants split into luxury-living "Rulers" in the penthouse and "Workers" in the basement doing tasks to build the prize pot, with power shifting through alliances, votes and betrayals.

Sehwag unveiled the season at a Mumbai promo event on September 23, and the show has already generated its first massive controversy — read on.
