KKK15 Premiere Was Delayed a Week Over the TRP Blackout — Fans Slammed the Makers

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was originally slated to premiere on July 25, 2026 — but the makers pushed it to August 1 after the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting directed BARC to suspend television ratings.

With no TRPs to measure the launch, the channel opted to wait out the blackout. Fans, who had been counting down to Rohit Shetty's return, slammed the last-minute change across social media.

The delay set the tone for a season that has been full of off-screen drama — and the irony is that KKK15 ultimately aired almost entirely during the ratings freeze, meaning no reliable TRP figures exist for the season at all.

For context: KKK14 had been a ratings disappointment (opening ~1.7, finale ~1.8 TRP — the lowest in franchise history), which is partly why the Cape Town "back to basics" reboot was greenlit.
